Mooleh Manay

Mooleh Manay Estate was established in 2013 by 4th generation coffee planter, Ms. G.G. Padmashree with the aim of producing sustainable and environmentally responsible high quality coffee using modern farming techniques. The plantation is located in North Coorg, on the banks of the Harangi backwaters in the foothills of the Western Ghats.

Venkids Valley

Venkids Valley Estate is run by husband and wife duo M.C Nanjappa and Shilpa Nanjappa, 3rd generation coffee planters. They grow both Arabica and Robusta. The plantation is meticulously block planted with single varietal coffees, maintaining traceability while picking. The plantation also has its own wet mill, fermentation tanks and drying yards.

Crystal Valley

Crystal Valley Estate is situated at an altitude of 985 meters in the Biligiri village of Somwarpet taluk in North Coorg. The steep North Easterly Facing slope of the estate is ideally suited for growing coffee. The Estate was bought by Mr. I.M. Mandappa, which was mostly jungle. The native trees were preserved to provide much needed shade and fruits for the large variety of birds and mammals. The plantation work started with coffee plants being sourced from Coffee Board and neighbouring estates - mainly Selections and Cannancadoo Kents. After the demise of I.M. Mandappa the estate was taken over by his son Mr.Mac Machaiah, who was then working in a kibbutz in Israel. On his return a lot of Selection 795 and 6 was inter-planted with Brazilian and Yellow Catuai. The 25-acre Crystal Valley Estate is to this day run and managed by Mr. Mac, who with his vast knowledge and experienced gained at Israel and more though with his gentle charm and warmth that radiates through the coffee estate, nurtures and produces some of the finest coffees.

Krishna giri

Legend has it that a fakir, Baba Budan, smuggled seven coffee beans on his journey from Persia to India and planted those seeds on a mountain, now called Baba Budan Giri, situated along the Chandradrona Hills. Lush green Krishna giri plantation has originated from those seven beans that grew to be amongst India's first recorded coffee plantations. The plantation is privately held by Boje Gowda and family.

Kanbile

Kanbile Estate was established in the early 1900’s. The proprietor of Kanbile Estate is 4th generation coffee planter, Mr. G.G. Rajendra Kumar. The plantation is sustainably cultivated with predominantly shade grown Arabica, with some of the shade trees being over a 100 years old. The plantation is bird and wildlife friendly and coffee is cultivated harmoniously with nature with minimal environmental impact. The plantation also has its own wet mill and drying yards.

The Natural Farmer

Nestled snugly on the eastern hillsides of the western ghats of india, in India’s southernmost state of Tamil Nadu, on a hill range known as the Pulneys, an ecological hotspot home to diverse animals and birds, and other flora too, gently sits Mahesh Narayanan's family coffee farm, where over the years they have been producing some of the best arabica coffee in the land. They follow natural farming practices and are known simply as The Natural farmer.
